WhatsApp for iPhone gets the ability to search for GIFs right from inside the app. Earlier this week, WhatsApp added the feature that lets you send and receive GIFs and send videos.
WhatsApp users on iPhone will be able to search different types of GIFs right within the app itself. This is similar to the feature which was already present on Telegram. In order to search for a GIF you will have to tap Attach — Photo/Video Library and tap on the GIF search button on the bottom left. For example if you type LOL, the app will show you a number of GIFs and you can choose the one you like.
Although WhatsApp for Android has still not received this feature but the beta version gets a small update. Your device’s gallery now has an additional GIF tab next to Photos and Videos. WhatsApp for Android bets already allowed you to send and receive GIFs.
