Xiaomi introduced new Mi Notebook Air models back in July. Now the company has sent invites for a new Mi Notebook event in China in partnership with China Mobile. This shows 4G signal bar at the right corner, so it is expected to come with 4G support to offer on-the-go connectivity.
The Mi Notebook Air comes in 12.5-inch and 13.3-inch models with 1080p displays and 5.71mm and 5.59mm ultra-narrow borders, respectively. It is not clear if the new model will come in two versions.
The design is expected to be same, including full-sized backlit keyboard with 1.3mm key travel, 3nits brightness and glass trackpad for precise cursor control and multi-finger gesture controls such as scrolling program switching, zoom and other gestures, support for 1C fast charging technology to charge it up to 50% in half an hour.
This could be exclusive to China Mobile. We should know more details on Friday.
