Samsung introduced its QLED TV series – Q9, Q8, and Q7 ahead of CES 2017 earlier this year. At that time it also teased ‘The Frame’ TV at the event. Now at the global TV launch event in Paris, it unveiled new details surrounding its premium line-up of QLED TVs and The Frame.
The Frame is based on new innovative technology and looks like a picture frame hanging on a wall when ‘Art Mode’ is on. Instead of fading to black like a conventional TV, The Frame’s display transforms into a work of art, letting the users select custom-designed digital art pieces.
It shows more than 100 art pieces in 10 different categories – including landscape, architecture, wildlife, action, drawing and more – to choose from. It also has customizable accessory options including interchangeable bezels and an optional Studio Stand to complement your living space.
The Frame also has Samsung’s new Invisible Connection and No Gap Wall-mount, allowing users to hang it virtually anywhere because it can blend seamlessly into any living space without unsightly cables or wires. The Frame will be available this Spring. We still don’t have the pricing yet.
Samsung also announced that its 2017 QLED TV lineup is available now at Samsung.com and at retailers across US starting at $2,799.99 (Rs. 1,83,410 approx.) for the 55″ Class Q7F QLED 4K TV and goes up to $5,999.99 (Rs. 3,93,030 approx.) for the 65″ Class Q9F QLED 4K TV.
