We still have two more days for the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A to go official. Today CEO Lei Jun confirmed that the phone will come with dedicated dual SIM slots along with a microSD card slot that accepts cards up to 128GB. As the image shows, these are arranged in a single tray. All of earlier Xiaomi’s Redmi smartphones came with hybrid dual SIM slots.
Image on certification site showed 13MP front camera for the top-end version of the phone and even showed a flash, but the official press shots didn’t show the flash. Now the CEO has confirmed that the phone will have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera along with flash for capturing better selfies in low lighting conditions. These are expected only in the top-end variant.
