Gionee launched the A1 Plus smartphone in India back in July this year for Rs. 26,999 and the A1 Lite smartphone was launched in August in the country at a price tag of Rs. 14,999. Today the company has announced a price cut for both the smartphones.
The Gionee A1 Plus has received a Rs. 3000 price cut and the A1 Lite has received a Rs. 1000 price cut and are available for Rs. 23,999 and Rs. 13,999, respectively from retail stores. You can also get the A1 Lite for as low as Rs. 12,799 on Amazon.in.
To remind you, the A1 Plus has a 6-inch 1080p display, is powered by an Octa-Core Helio P25 SoC and runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat). It has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera along with a 13-megapixel + 5-megapixel dual rear cameras. It has a fingerprint sensor on the front, features a unibody metal design, comes with stereo speakers along with Maxx Audio and packs a 4550mAh battery with support for fast charging.
The A1 Lite has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash, 5.3-inch HD display, is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor, runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) with Amigo 4.0 UI and a 13-megapixel rear camera. It also has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4000mAh battery.
Gionee recently has partnered with Airtel and Paytm to offer Airtel Customers additional 10 GB data per month for 6 months on on any data recharge of 1GB and above for the A1 Lite and the phone comes with 2 Paytm cashback vouchers codes with Rs. 250 cash back on a minimum purchase of Rs. 350 on Paytm mall.
