Reliance Jio and Sodexo today announced a partnership, under which user’s JioMoney wallet will integrate Sodexo Meal Cards for mobile-based payments. This lets users easily pay Sodexo Merchants like grocery shops, kiranas, restaurants and cafes across the country easily using JioMoney without Sodexo’s physical card for the purchase of food and non-alcoholic beverages.
Reliance Jio believes that this will also also increase JioMoney’s rapidly growing user-base across India. The solution has already been launched in Mumbai and Jio says that consumer response has been excellent.
The JioMoney solution will be enabled at all Sodexo accepting merchants nationally over a period of time. “Reliance Jio and Sodexo will continue to work together to accelerate adoption of services offered by both the brands, said that company.
