Google today is introducing two new AutoML offerings; the AutoML Natural Language that helps you automatically predict custom text categories specific to domains and AutoML Translation using which you can upload translated language pairs to train your own custom translation model. Furthermore, Google also said that these are now available in beta, and announced new enhancements to Dialogflow Enterprise Edition, a new solution, Contact Center A.
Google today is announcing that its third generation Cloud TPUs are available in alpha, making support for larger amounts of machine learning computation. It is also launching several important updates to its core machine learning APIs. The Cloud Vision API now recognizes handwriting, supports additional file types (PDF and TIFF) and product search, and can identify where an object is located within an image.
Furthermore, it is also pushing out improvements to Cloud Text-to-Speech, such as multilingual access to voices generated by DeepMind WaveNet technology and the ability to optimize for the type of speaker from which your speech is intended to play. The Cloud Speech-to-Text gets the ability to identify what language is spoken as well as different speakers in a conversation, word-level confidence scores, and multi-channel recognition.
Google Dialogflow Enterprise Edition that was introduced it last November gets new capabilities like Text to Speech capability via DeepMind’s WaveNet and the Dialogflow Phone Gateway for telephony integration. Google also built a complete solution which it calls Contact Center AI. This when the call is placed by a user, immediately is greeted by a virtual agent that answers questions and fulfills tasks all on its own. Though the core sounds relatable to Google’s Duplex, the company says that both have distinct technology stacks and aims overall.
Google also announced that it is working with several Contact Center AI partners including Appian, Chatbase, Cisco, Five9, Genesys, Mitel, Quantiphi, RingCentral, Twilio, UiPath, Upwire, and Vonage for use of the Cloud AI.
