Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro gets another price cut in India as it hits 1 crore unit sales, now starts at Rs. 12999


After announcing a price cut for Mi A2 yesterday, Xiaomi today announced a price cut for its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in India as the company has sold 1 crore or 10 million units. It was launched  back in February last year and got a Rs. 1000 price cut in November. The smartphone is now available for Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB+64GB version, after a Rs. 1000 price cut and the 6GB+64GB version is available for Rs. 13,999, after a Rs. 2000 price cut on FlipkartAmazon.in, Mi.com and offline stores.

To remind you, the phone packs a  5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass screen, is powered by Snapdragon 636 SoC with up to 6GB RAM, has a 12-megapixel primary rear camera with 1.25μm pixel size sensor, dual-tone LED flash, same as the Redmi Note 5, but this also comes with a secondary 5-megapixel camera to capture the depth information for background blur. It already got Android Oreo update and MIUI 10 update.

It also has a 20-megapixel front-facing camera with selfie flash and offer A.I based portrait selfies. It has a fingerprint sensor on the back and packs a 4000mAh battery. Check out our Redmi Note 5 Pro review here.
