Update: June 7, 2019 — Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has posted new teaser that shows the color display of the Mi Band 4 and bands in different colors, including Red, Blue, Black, Brown, Light Brown and more.
Earlier: After leaks, Xiaomi’s MIJIA or Mi Ecosystem brand has officially confirmed that it will introduce the Mi Band 4, successor of last year’s Mi Band 3 at an event in China on June 11th. The company has confirmed that the new Mi Band will finally move to a color screen and promises better battery life compared to the Band 3.
Recent leak showed OLED color screen with a large display area, heart rate sensor on the back and a charging connector on the back, while earlier bands had a charging connector on the bottom.
Recent certification with model numbers XMSH08HM and XMSH07HM revealed Bluetooth 5.0 support and the XMSH08HM is the NFC model. It is said to come with a 135mAh battery, compared to 110mAh battery in the predecessor. It rumored to be priced starting at 199 yuan (US$ 28 / Rs. 1,990 approx.).
