Samsung has launched the new Galaxy Tab A 8-inch (2019) (SM-T290 WiFi / SM-T295 LTE) models in India. It has a 8-inch WXGA screen, is powered by Snapdragon 429 SoC with 2GB of RAM, runs Android 9.0 (Pie), sports an 8MP rear camera with autofocus support and a 2MP front camera. It has dual speakers, has 3.5mm jack, micro USB port, and sports a 5100mAh battery.

There is also a dedicated Kids mode that provides content designed specifically for kids to provide a suitable and safe entertainment space and also to proactively manage their content and usage time.
