HUAWEI just confirmed that it will introduce its flagship Mate 30 and Mate 30 Pro smartphones at an event in Munich, Germany on September 19th. To remind you, the HUAWEI Mate 10 series was introduced in Munich back in 2017, but last year’s Mate 20 was announced at an event in London. The invite also hints at circular camera module as rumored earlier, and the invite confirms Leica partnership once again.

Recent, alleged renders from China showed a display with a large notch and curved to the sides. It is said to feature a Leica quad-camera setup housed in a circular camera module, but there is no information on the front-facing camera yet. It is also expected to come with 3D face unlock just like the Mate 20 Pro.
The image also revealed that the Mate 30/Mate 30 Pro will be powered by Kirin 990 SoC that will be introduced at the IFA next week and come with HUAWEI SuperCharge fast charging technology. Earlier report reveald the front panel of the smartphone hinting at dual front camera setup. The Mate 30 Pro is expected to come with 4500mAh battery with HUAWEI SuperCharge fast charging.
We should know more details in the coming days.
