At a hardware event in New York, Microsoft today announced an array of devices including new Surface Laptop 3, Surface Pro 7 2-in-1, Surface Pro X 2-in-1, Surface Neo, Surface Earbuds, and accessories. The Surface Pro 7 comes with upgraded Intel processor, the Surface Pro X comes with a new processor codesigned with Qualcomm and more.
Microsoft Surface Pro X
The new Microsoft Surface Pro X is a 2-in-1 device sporting a 13-inch edge-to-edge PixelSense Display with a resolution of 2880 x 1920 pixels, 33% thinner bezels along with 10-point multitouch. It is powered by the new Microsoft SQ1 processor codesigned with Qualcomm, Adreno 685 iGPU, 8GB/16GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128/256/512GB SSD. It comes with the Surface Pen that has 4,096 levels of pressure, Tilt sensing, and 0.1mm precision. The keyboard includes pen docking for secure storage and charging for the new Slim Pen. The connectivity options include Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, Snapdragon X24 LTE modem, and up to Gigabit LTE Advanced Pro5 with nanoSIM and eSIM support. The battery life on the Pro X is claimed to be up to 13 hours.

Alongside the Pro X 2-in-1, Microsoft also unveiled the Pro 7 ultralight 2-in-1 that offers a laptop-to-tablet versatility. It sports a 12.3-inch PixelSense Display with a resolution of 2736 x 1824 pixels along with 10-point multitouch. It is now powered by a powerful 10th Generation Intel Core processor along with Intel Iris Plus / Intel UHD graphics. It features 4GB/8GB/16GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128/256/512GB or 1TB SSD. It also comes with the Surface Pen that has 4,096 levels of pressure, Tilt sensing, and 0.1mm precision. Unlike the Surface Pro X, the Surface Pro 7 comes with a faster Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 LE technology and it also has a TPM 2.0 chip for enterprise security. The battery life on the Pro 7 is claimed to be up to 10.5 hours.

Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is priced starting at US$ 749 (Rs. 53,330 approx.) and Surface Pro X is priced starting at US$ 999 (Rs. 71,130 approx.). Surface Pro X will be available from November 5 with pre-orders starting today and the Surface Pro 7 goes up for pre-order today and will start shipping from October 22nd 2019.
