Realme launched the realme 6 series smartphones in India earlier this week. The realme 6 Pro is the slightly bigger version compared to the realme 6 with dual punch-hole design, slightly better rear camera and a better build quality. The phone packs a 6.6-inch Full HD+ 20:9 aspect ratio LCD screen with a resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels offering 90Hz refresh rate and 120Hz touch sampling rate. Thanks to minimal bezels and punch-hole screen, it has 90.60% screen-to-body ratio according to the company. The screen protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is also the first phone to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC, which has support for India’s NavIC. It has 6GB / 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB UFS 2.1 storage. It runs on the latest Android 10 with realme UI 1.0 on top.
Compared to single front camera on the realme 6, the realme 6 Pro has dual front cameras that includes a 16MP camera with Sony IMX471 sensor along with a secondary 8MP 105° ultra-wide sensor.
Coming to the button placements, the phone has a power button on the right side that houses a fingerprint scanner, dedicated dual SIM and microSD slot on the left along with volume rockers. 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C Port and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. On the top there is a secondary microphone.
On the back there are quad rear cameras that includes a 64MP primary sensor with Samsung GW1 sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP 119° ultra-wide angle lens, 12MP telephoto sensor for up to 2x optical zoom and 20x digitial zoom and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. It has support for 4k video recording at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps. There is also UIS stabilization and real-time portrait bokeh video recording. Check out some camera samples below.
The back has a lightning design and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is not slippery but attracts fingerprints easily. Under the hood the phone packs a 4300mAh battery that can be charged fully using the 30W charging in an hour.
The realme 6 Pro also comes in Lightning Orange color, starts at Rs. 16,999 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage version and will be available from Flipkart, realme.com as well as offline stores starting from March 13th.
