Along with the Galaxy Note 20 series, Galaxy Watch 3, Galaxy Tab S7 Series, Samsung has also announced the much-awaited true wireless earbuds – Samsung Galaxy Buds Live at the virtual Unpacked event today. The Buds Live sport a bean-shaped design, wireless charging, ANC, and more.
Samsung has done away with the conventional design on the Galaxy Buds Live and has introduced a tip-less design. The internal components of the Buds Live have been laid out horizontally now instead of vertically to prevent the earbuds protrude from one’s ears. Samsung also provides wing tips with these and users can further customise the fit.
As for the specifications, the Galaxy Buds Live pack a 12mm driver unit, 2 microphones on the outside, 1 microphone on the inside, and a voice pickup unit. Further, these earbuds also feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and you get a total of 21 hours playback with ANC ON and a total of 29 hours with ANC OFF. There is an intuitive touch-based Physical User Interface for touch control and the earbuds themselves weigh just 5.6g. These pack a 60mAh battery and the charging case packs a 472mAh battery with support for wireless charging (Qi standard).
