About a month ago, Apple released iOS 13.6 which brought multiple updates like support for Digital car keys and added features in the Apple News app. Now, Apple is rolling out a minor update to iOS and iPadOS, bringing the version count to 13.6.1. The update primarily contains fixes relating to low storage issues, green tint issues with screen mainly faced by iPhone 11 and more.
The complete changelog for iOS 13.6.1 is as follows:
- Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low.
- Fixes a thermal management issue that caused some displays to exhibit a green tint.
- Fixes an issue where Exposure Notifications could be disabled for some users.
The iPadOS 13.6.1 only has the fix — Addresses an issue where unneeded system data files might not be automatically deleted when available storage is low.
To install the update, simply go to Settings ⇾ General→Software update. This will likely be the last update for iOS 13 as Apple prepares to launch iOS 14 later this fall.
