Google Pixel 5, Pixel 4a 5G, Chromecast with Google TV, new Nest speaker to be announced on September 30

Google already confirmed that it will introduce Pixel 4a 5G  and Pixel 5 this fall. Now it has confirmed that the new Pixel phones will be introduced on September 30th. The ‘Launch Night In’ invite also confirms new Chromecast and smart speaker will be introduced at the event.

The Google Pixel 5 is rumored to pack a 5.8-inch FHD+ OLED 90Hz display, Octa Core Snapdragon 765G SoC, 8GB DDR4X RAM, 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, 12.2MP rear camera with LED flash, OIS, Ultra-wide camera, 8MP front camera, IP68 Water and dust Resistant ratings and a 4000mAh battery with 18W fast charging and Qi wireless charging. Even the Google Pixel 5s surfaced recently.

The Pixel 4a 5G is said to come with a smaller OLED  60Hz display, Snapdragon 765G, 6GB RAM, 128GB (UFS 2.1) storage, retain the 3.5mm audio jack, and pack a smaller 3800mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

Next up is the Google Chromecast code-named Sabrina. The device will likely arrive in a new colour too – light pink, along with the usual black and white. Google is said to load Android TV completely into the device with full apps support, instead of just being an interface to cast videos from smartphones, etc. There are also reports of new Android TV UI.

The device will come with a dedicated remote control.

Google already teased its upcoming Nest smart speaker, which will be the successor of the Google Home (Nest) that was introduced back in 2016. It surfaced with the codename ‘Prince’ and has also passed through the FCC revealing coral colour, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 30W DC charger in the box. The smart speaker is expected to come with larger drivers compared to the predecessor.

The Google Launch Night In event on September 30th will start at 11AM PT (11:30 PM IST) and the company will offer live stream.
