After rumours and teasers, realme today confirmed the launch of the realme 8s 5G, successor to the realme 8 5G with Dimensity 810, making it the first phone with the chip. The realme 8i, an enhanced version of the realme 8 and the successor to the realme 7i will also be introduced alongside is the India’s first phone to come with Helio G96.
Based on earlier rumours, the realme 8s will be the phone that will be powered by Dimensity 810 SoC. It is said to sport a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, pack up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage, along with support for 5GB virtual RAM. According to the renders it will come with 64MP triple rear camera setup, power button with a fingerprint scanner on the right side and is said to pack a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
Based on recent rumours, the realme 8i will come with a 6.59-inch FHD+ screen, which is said to come with 120Hz refresh rate. It is said to pack a 50MP camera, which should be the same Samsung ISOCELL JN1 along with a 2MP B&W portrait camera and 2MP 4cm macro sensor. It is said to pack a 5000mAh (typical) battery.
