Samsung Galaxy S22 and S22+ sale might be pushed to March 11

Samsung is all set to introduce its flagship Galaxy S22 series of phones on February 9th. Earlier rumours said that the Samsung Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, Galaxy S22 Ultra will ship starting from February 25th, about two weeks after the release. According to leaker Jon Prosser, Samsung will only start shipping the top-end Galaxy S22 Ultra on February 25th.

He added that the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S22+ will ship only on March 11th globally, which is after a month of announcement. The reason for pushing the sale date is reportedly due to supply chain issues.

To remind you, the Galaxy S21 FE was supposed to launch in August 2021, but it was only launched in January 2022, and the reason for the delay was also said to be due to similar reasons.

According to the latest rumours Europe, CIS (Commonwealth of Independent States), Southwest Asia, Middle East, and Africa will get the Galaxy S22 series powered by Exynos 2200, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1-powered S22 series will be launched in  China, Japan, Latin America, North America, South Korea, and Southeast Asia.

Samsung has already started pre-bookings for the Galaxy S22 in several countries. In the US, it is offering extra $50 Samsung Credit toward other Galaxy products during pre-order and says that more exclusive offers will be available during pre-order period. We can also expect some launch offers for India.
