Stuffcool Ecolo Type C to C PD65W and Type C to A 5A Cables Review

A few weeks back, Stuffcool, a company known for its accessories, launched Ecolo cables made out of 96% recycled, repurposed plastic and 4% polyester.  As per the company claims, it is India’s first-ever sustainable cable. These Ecolo cables are available as a 5A Type C to Type A Cable and PD65W compatible Type C to C Cable.

Sustainability factor

These Ecolo cables are GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified, a voluntary product standard for tracking and verifying the content of recycled materials in a final product.

The Ecolo cables made from recycled plastic have no compromise on performance or durability. The cables are made from 96% recycled, repurposed plastic and 4% polyester. Since the cables are braided, it has an additional strain relief design for increased durability.

Performance

We have used the cable for the past few weeks to charge phones, TWS, power banks, and other accessories. In terms of the phones, I have connected them with the OnePlus 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Note20 Ultra, and Galaxy S21FE. We tested with Stuffcool’s flow 25 (25W) and OnePlus’ 65W Warp Charger. In our experience, it worked well without any issues.

This cable has an inbuilt auto-detect IC, which detects your device and delivers the optimal power at the highest safety standards. As for the data transfer concern, the cable has a maximum speed of 480Mbps when used with PC, laptops & MacBooks.

The Ecolo 5A Type C cable can be used for OnePlus, OPPO, vivo devices that require high-powered type C cables, while the Type C-to-C cable can be used for flagship Samsung phones, Google Pixel phones and even charging the latest iPad Pro and MacBook Pro M1, supporting up to PD65W of power transmission.

The Ecolo Made From Recycled Plastic Type C to C PD65W and Type C to A 5A cables are priced at Rs. 649 and 699, respectively, and are available from Stuffcool.com.
