Vi partners with OnePlus to lead India’s 5G device ecosystem

To accelerate the growth of the 5G device ecosystem in India, Vi (Vodafone Idea) has formed a strategic partnership with the international premium technology brand OnePlus. The announcement of the cooperation was made in advance of India Mobile Congress 2022, which will take place in New Delhi from the 1st to the 4th of October 2022.

In Delhi, top OnePlus devices such as the OnePlus 10T, OnePlus 10 Pro, and OnePlus 10R, as well as the Nord 2T, Nord CE 2 Lite, and Nord CE 2, have been tested on 5G spectrum bands acquired by Vi. Additionally, the Nord 2T and Nord CE 2 have been used to test the Nord CE 2 and Nord CE 2.

According to the most current channel share tracker released by Counterpoint India for the second quarter of 2022, OnePlus has emerged as the leading 5G smartphone brand in online channels in the INR 20K-INR 30K price range during the first half of 2022.

The company says that Vi will also keep working with a wide range of OEM brands to give its 4G customers the chance to upgrade their devices so they are ready for 5G.
