Update: iQOO says that the phone features the slimmest design in the segment at just 7.8mm thickness. It said that the phone an AMOLED display in the sub-20k segment that comes with 1300 Nits Local Peak Brightness and also has an In-display fingerprint sensor.
Earlier: iQOO has confirmed the launch of Z7 5G on March 21st in India. It also says that it is the first phone in the segment to feature a 64MP camera with OIS.

iQOO started teasing the upcoming iQOO Z7 5G smartphone in India a few days back. After teasing, the phone’s back, today the company has confirmed that the phone will be powered by Dimensity 920 SoC.
iQOO said that the 8GB + 128GB model of the phone has scored 4.85 lakhs on AnTuTu, much higher than the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 in the Z6 Lite and the 695 in the Z6.
iQOO says that this is the fastest processor in the segment compared to other phones launched on Amazon in 2023.

Based on earlier teasers, the phone will still have a notch. It is said to pack a FHD+ 120Hz screen, and a 64MP rear camera with OIS.
The company is said to launch another version of the Z7 with Snapdragon 782G SoC in China compared to Snapdragon 778G+ SoC in the Z6, and the Z7x is said to get Snapdragon 695 SoC instead of Dimensity 810.
The iQOO Z7 5G is expected to launch in India on March 21st, and we should know more details, including the official launch date, in a few days. As usual, the phone will be sold on Amazon.in, in addition to iQOO.com.
