After adding 5G support for Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro users on Airtel and Jio in India with the March Pixel feature drop last week, 5G support is now available for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro users in India, even though the phones have not launched in India officially.
The Pixel 6a also gets the update with the March Android security patch.

This comes after months of testing and gathering feedback from the users on quality and usability during the beta stage. As you can see from the screenshot, you now get a 5G option (enabled by default) in addition to LTE and 3G.
Google’s 5G availability page doesn’t mention 5G support for Pixel 5 series or the Pixel 4a 5G model for India, which are also not officially available in the country.
