Earlier reports and findings revealed that JioCinema will soon be rebranded to JioVoot, and it also hinted at Rs. 99 plan. Now a new test website has surfaced, revealing 3 plans.
Even though the text on the site says JioCinema Premium, the code on the site shows JioVoot, so it could be changed later.
The Rs. 99 Gold plan which already surfaced will support 2 devices and will be valid for 3 months. The original price for the plan is Rs. 299, and the Rs. 99 price is after 67% discount. There is a 1-day plan at Rs. 2 after a 93% discount from the original price of Rs. 29.
The Rs. 599 plan for 12 months will be the top-end platinum plan that lets you watch in 4 devices. It will be ad-free except for live stream. The rate is after 50% discount from the Rs. 1199 original plan.
All the three plans will let you watch all content, on any device, in the highest quality, which is 4K.
There is a UPI payment option for the plans on the site, and it works. The payment goes to Viacom Media Private Limited. Users should also be able to subscribe directly from the app on their TVs.
Since the company has started testing the plans, we can expect the official announcement of the launch and rebranding to JioVoot soon.
