motorola introduced the razr 40 ultra and the razr 40, the company’s latest flip phones, in China. Few hours back, the phones were introduced for the global markets at an event in Madrid, Spain.
The motorola razr 40 ultra is already on sale in Europe starting at an MSRP of €1,199.99 (US$ 1,290 / Rs. 1,06,285 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model. Europe and Middle East will exclusively get the Viva Magenta colour with a vegan leather back. The device will roll out to selected markets across Latin America and Asia in the following weeks.
In the U.S., the phone will be launched as motorola razr+ (2023) priced at $999.99 (Rs. 82,295 approx.) for the 8GB + 256GB model. It will be available for pre-order on motorola.com and through select carriers and retailers on June 16.
The device will be available for sale at AT&T, T-Mobile, Spectrum Mobile, Google Fi Wireless and Optimum Mobile, as well as universally unlocked at Best Buy, Amazon.com and Motorola.com starting June 23.
It will also be available in Canada at CA$1,299.99 starting from June 23 through Motorola.ca and through select carriers and national retailers with pre-orders starting from June 16.
The motorola razr 40 / razr (2023) will roll out to selected markets across Europe, Latin America and Asia, said the company, without revealing the pricing or sale date.
The company did not say if the phones will come to India. The motorola razr 40 ultra has already received BIS certification, so we can expect it to launch in the country in the future.
