Samsung has announced the Galaxy S23 FE, the company’s latest Fan Edition smartphone in the S23 series. This has a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 or Exynos 2200 depending on the market. India will get the Exynos version, as usual. There is also vapor chamber cooling.
The phone runs Android 13 with One UI 5.1 on top. It will get 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates, similar to the flagships.
It has a new 50MP rear camera, similar to the S23, has a 12MP ultra-wide camera along with a 8MP telephoto camera. There is also a new 10MP front camera. There is advanced digital image stabilization (VDIS) and optical image stabilizer (OIS).
For the first time in a FE series, the S23 FE has a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It has an aluminum frame. As usual, it has IP68 ratings for dust and water resistance. It packs a 4500mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging as well as wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support, similar to the S21 FE.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 FE comes in Mint, Cream, Graphite, and Purple colours as well as online-exclusive Indigo and Tangerine colours and is priced starting at USD 599 (Rs. 49,845 approx.), and will roll out globally starting from tomorrow, October 5th.
