Samsung has introduced its new Galaxy Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+, alongside the Galaxy S23 FE. The Galaxy Tab S9 FE has a 10.9-inch display, while the Tab S9 FE+ features a larger 12.4-inch screen.
These displays automatically adjust their refresh rate to make things smoother, going up to 90Hz. There’s also a Vision Booster that makes the screen easier to see in bright sunlight, and a blue light filter to reduce eye strain. Both the Tab S9 FE and Tab S9 FE+ are resistant to water and dust, with an IP68 rating.
The Tab S9 FE+ has a powerful battery, lasting up to 20 hours for video playback on a single charge, thanks to its 10090mAh battery. The Tab S9 FE can go up to 18 hours with its 8000mAh battery. They both charge quickly in under 90 minutes with 45W Fast Charging support, although you’ll need to buy the charger separately.
These tablets also have dual speakers tuned by AKG and support Dolby Atmos. Both tablets have a 12 MP ultrawide front camera and an 8 MP main rear camera. The Tab S9 FE+ also has an extra 8 MP ultrawide rear camera.
You can jot down ideas and notes easily with the included IP68-rated S Pen. Both tablets come with various creative tools and apps like Goodnotes, LumaFusion, and Clip Studio Paint, making it simple to keep track of class notes, sketches, videos, and more.
Under the hood, both tablets are powered by the Exynos 1380 chipset. The Tab S9 FE comes with 6/8 GB of RAM, while the FE+ model has 8/12 GB. Storage options go up to 256GB, and you can expand it to 1TB with a microSD card. There’s also a 5G model of the Galaxy Tab S9 FE for faster connectivity. Both tablets come with Android 13 and One UI 5.1.1.
For productivity, Samsung DeX gives you a PC-like experience on your tablet. You can multitask with multiple windows, work from a taskbar, and easily move files around. The Book Cover Keyboard is compatible, but you’ll have to purchase it separately.
