Google has started rolling out the October 2023 Pixel feature drop for Pixel devices. This update includes improvements and features for Pixel Phones, Pixel Fold, and Tablets.

For Pixel Phones

1. Enhanced Camera Experience: The camera interface on Pixel Phones is now easier to use with Android 14. You can switch between photo and video modes like Night Sight and Slow Motion quickly. It also helps you discover new camera modes.

2. Lock Screen Personalization: With Android 14, you can customize your lock screen with new clock styles and wallpapers. You can also change quick actions and notifications to find what you need faster.

3. Monochromatic Themes: If you prefer a neutral theme, you can try new monochromatic themes to give your Pixel Phone a more subtle look.

4. Translation on Pixel Fold: Pixel Fold introduces a Dual Screen interpreter mode, which makes it simpler to have conversations in different languages. It translates live conversations using both screens.

5. RAW Image Editing: Editing RAW images taken on Pixel 6 and newer phones and Pixel Tablet is now easier. You can open them directly in your preferred RAW editor from the Photos app.

6. Improved Charging Notifications: Pixel 6 and newer phones and Pixel Tablet will notify you if your charger is slow or not working properly.

7. Battery Saver Upgrade: The Battery Saver feature has a new design, allowing you to extend your battery life by controlling which apps continue running when Battery Saver is on.

8. Seamless App Streaming: You can now stream apps on ChromeOS, allowing you to switch between Pixel devices and Chromebooks seamlessly.

For Pixel Tablet

1. Kids’ Navigation: Google Kids Space on Pixel Tablet has a simplified navigation bar, making it easier for kids to explore and use apps.

2. Voice-Activated News and Podcasts: In Hub Mode, you can ask Google Assistant to play your favorite podcasts or the latest news by saying “Hey Google, play the Made By Google Podcast” or “Hey Google, play the news.”
