Xperia Arc was announced by SE at MWC which is a good and attractive device. Michael Hell and Jonathan reviewed it and they were satisfied with it. We recently told you that it will be hitting USA soon and I guessed that it will hit AT&T but now Sony Ericsson is finally offering it in USA but they are offering the unlocked version and it’s available directly from Sony. This unlocked version can run on AT&T 3G and EDGE network and only on T-Mobile EDGE network. Sony is offering it for $599.99 and now you can order it as it’s in stock. If you don’t want to get stuck with a contract and looking for a good phone, then Arc isn’t a bad choice at all. I think in future, maybe it will be available on contract via AT&T or T-Mobile where it will probably cost you around $199.99 on contract, let’s see what SE is planning to do in future.
To refresh your memory, Arc comes with a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 4.2-inch capacitive screen with Sony mobile Bravia engine, and an 8-megapixel Exmor R camera with autofocus and LED flash, capable to record video in 720p HD video recording, and some other good features under the hood. So who’s planning to get one from Sony?
