vivo X100 series and vivo Watch3 to be announced on November 13


vivo just confirmed the launch of vivo X100 series that includes the vivo X100 and the vivo X100 Pro in China on November 13th, as the successor to last year’s vivo X90 series. It will also introduce the vivo Watch3, alongside running its own Blue OS operating system optimized for IoT products.

The company posted an image of the phone that shows a large circular camera module in the center with four cameras. The is ZEISS T* text, and the blue version has a textured body and a curved design. vivo product manager Han Boxiao who posted the image said that the design of the new phone is inspired by star trails like the romantic Milky Way in space.

The vivo X100 series phone with the model number V2309A surfaced on AnTuTu listing this week revealing Dimensity 9300 SoC, 16GB of RAM and 1TB storage posting a score of 22,49,858 points, beating the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 that has 2.13 million scores.

It also reveals Android 14, and the company today confirmed that the phone will run OriginOS 4 at the launch, and it should come with Funtouch OS 14 globally.

The phone is said to feature vivo 6nm self-developed imaging chip V3, Hynix LPDDR5T RAM, the entire series is said with periscope telephoto lenses, and bring the industry’s only Zeiss APO standard certification.

Based on listing on jd.com, the vivo X100 series will start at 3,999 yuan (USD 546 / Rs. 45,500 approx.) for 12GB+256GB, cheaper than the 4499 yuan price tag for the same model. It looks like the company is skipping the 8GB and 128GB models this time.
