HMD is gearing up for the launch of its own-branded smartphones in India and other global markets. The company will soon unveil the Pulse series of smartphones and the renders of the devices have appeared online, thanks to @OnLeaks.
There are two smartphones in the lineup namely HMD Pulse and Pulse Pro. The renders and expected specifications reveal that the Pulse series will be the company’s entry-level device lineup.
Both feature a similar design with rounded edges, a center punch-hole selfie camera, a rectangular camera module at the back, and an HMD logo at the center. Interestingly, the Pulse has a thinner chin than the Pulse Pro, which has a larger chin and selfie cutout.
The HMD Pulse Pro has a textured finish back and is expected to feature an HD+ (1480 × 720 pixels) screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, a 50MP + 2MP (depth) camera setup at the back, a 50MP front camera, Unisoc T606 SoC, and a 5000mAh battery. Further, the device might also have a 3.5mm headphone jack and come with IP52 dust and water-resistant support.
The HMD Pulse, on the other hand, should feature a plain back panel, the same HD+ screen, a 13MP primary rear camera, and a 5000mAh battery. It will come in blue, black, and pink colors.
The HMD Pulse Pro is expected to be priced around EUR 179 (Rs. 15,911 approx.), while the Pulse might cost less than the Pro. We should get more details on these phones in the coming weeks.
