realme GT 6: Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, 5500mAh battery, 120W fast charging, and more confirmed


After confirming the global and India launch date as June 20th, and the AI features, realme has revealed more features of the realme GT 6.

realme has confirmed that the GT 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, and claims 1.65+ million AnTuTu score, more than the GT 6T that is powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. It will support LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.

It will also come with 9-layer cooling system incorporates a 10014mm² 3D tempered dual VC, which was seen in the GT 6T. This significantly enhances cooling efficiency, ensuring sustained performance without overheating, even during intensive gaming sessions, said the company.

The phone will pack a 5500mAh dual-cell battery and 120W SUPERVOOC charger for 50% charge in just 10 minutes and 100% in 28 minutes.

With Smart Charging technology and 38 layers of protection, it ensures safe and intelligent charging, even in extreme conditions. The battery supports up to 46 hours of talk time and 8 hours of PUBG gameplay, retaining over 80% capacity after 1600 full charge cycles, ensuring up to four years of use with one charge per day, according to the company.

realme recently confirmed that the phone will come with a glass back, compared to the plastic back in the realme GT 6T. We will have to wait for more details in the coming days, before the phone goes official on June 20th.
