Samsung Galaxy S24 FE with Exynos 2400 surfaces in benchmarks

Rumours about Samsung Galaxy S24 FE using Exynos 2400 surfaced earlier this year. Now the phone with the model number SM-S721B has surfaced in Geekbench revealing that it will indeed come with Exynos 2400 SoC.

It also reveals 8GB of RAM for the phone, same as the S23 FE, even though it was rumoured to get 12GB of RAM.

This reveals scores of 2047 for single-core and 6289 scores for multi-core in Geekbench 6 benchmark. Even though the single-core scores are almost similar to the S24 and the S24+ that has the same Exynos 2400 chip, the multi-core scores are slightly less.

This is mainly since the prime Cortex-X4 core clock speed is down from 3.2 GHz (in the Exynos 2400 used in S24 & S24+) to 3.11 GHz.

Otherwise, this retains the 5 x mid-sized core that includes 2 x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.90 GHz and 3 x Cortex-A720 cores at 2.59 GHz for balanced processing, and 4 x Cortex-A520 cores at 1.96 GHz for efficiency. It also retains the Xclipse 940 GPU.

Based on recent reports, the Galaxy S24 FE will retain the 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN3 sensor Galaxy S23 FE.

Launch date?

The Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to launch in late 2024 or early 2025.
