Samsung has confirmed that it will host its next Galaxy Unpacked event in Paris, France on July 10th, as expected. The company highlights AI in the invite, along with the image of its Galaxy Z series foldable.
Regarding this, Samsung said:
The next frontier of Galaxy AI is coming. Prepare to discover the power of Galaxy AI, now infused into the latest Galaxy Z series and the entire Galaxy ecosystem. Get ready for a world of possibilities as we enter a new phase of mobile AI.
At the event, we can expect the Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Watch Ultra, Galaxy Ring, the Galaxy Buds 3 and the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6
The launch of the Galaxy Z series is coming a month early, compared to the previous year’s August release, thanks to the faster production schedule.
The standard Z Fold 6 model is designed to be thinner than its predecessor, with the entry-level model aiming for even greater thinness and cost reduction by omitting stylus support.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Fold 6 should stick to Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC based on latest rumours to target more buyers, without ‘For Galaxy’ branding used in the Galaxy S24 series.
There are also rumours of cheaper Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE models with Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 / Exynos 2200 for late 2024.
Galaxy Watch7 Ultra
Galaxy Watch7 series for the first time will include an Ultra variant featuring an eccentric square-ish outer frame with a circular display inside, departing from the traditional circular dial. However, it will retain the rotating bezel seen in previous Classic variants, as shown in the renders.
It is said to pack a large 1.5-inch screen, and a third circular button, possibly offering unique functions. The back of the watch features a circular array of sensors, unlike the Galaxy Watch6 Classic.
Galaxy Buds 3
The Galaxy Buds 3 is said to feature a stem design with a case design that resembles AirPods and a transparent look. Based on reports, the Galaxy Buds 3 will have a single driver, Active Noise Cancellation, and an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, alongside an expected 24-hour battery life.
Samsung Galaxy Ring
Samsung showcased the Galaxy Ring at the MWC 2024, after it was teased the Galaxy Unpacked at the Galaxy S24 event. It should reveal the pricing at the roll-out details of the smart ring at the Unpacked event in July.
With Galaxy Ring, users can access insights and understandings about their health seamlessly throughout the day and night, aligning with Samsung’s broader vision for a connected digital wellness platform, said the company.
