Samsung has launched the Galaxy Buds3 series alongside the Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch7 at its Unpacked event in Paris, France.
The Galaxy Buds3 series leverages Galaxy AI to enhance communication, offering features like Interpreter in Listening mode for real-time translations during activities such as foreign language classes with the Galaxy Z Fold6 or Flip6.
Users can also control functions through Voice Command, simplifying music playback without touching the earbuds or smartphone. Adaptive EQ and Adaptive ANC optimize sound quality and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) based on real-time analysis of internal and external sounds via microphones, supported by Adaptive Noise Control, Siren Detect, and Voice Detect.
Designed with user comfort and style in mind, the Galaxy Buds3 series features a computational design for a snug fit and modern aesthetic, including Blade Lights for intuitive controls through pinch or swipe gestures. The series offers two designs: Canal Type for immersive sound (Buds3 Pro) and Open Type for versatile, extended use (Buds3).
Galaxy Buds3 Pro enhances audio with 2-way speakers and Dual Amplifiers for clear sound, supported by Ultra High-Quality Audio with SSC codec for high-resolution audio playback. Super-Wideband Call ensures high-quality voice calls in diverse noise environments, similar to smartphone call clarity.
In terms of battery life, with ANC on, Buds3 will offer up to a total of 24 hours of music playback and 18 hours of talk time. On the other hand, Buds3 Pro will provide up to a total of 26 hours of music playback and 20 hours of talk time.
Both the Buds3 and Buds3 Pro also feature IP57 water resistance (earbuds only). Furthermore, Samsung emphasized that the series incorporates recycled plastics from fishing nets and water barrels in its components and uses 100% recycled paper for packaging.
