motorola has confirmed the launch of motorola edge 50 neo, the company’s next smartphone in the edge 50 series, in India, after it was introduced last month. The company says that this will be India’s lightest military-grade certified smartphone.
The phone will feature a 6.4-inch 1.5K 120Hz pOLED LTPO display with up to 3000 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It will come with Android 14 and the company promises 5 OS upgrades and 5 years of security updates for the phone.
The edge 50 neo will feature a vegan leather finish for the back, Pantone curated colours and the company has confirmed that it will come in Nautical Blue, Latte, Grisaille and Poinciana colours in India.
The phone features a 50MP rear camera with Sony LYT-700C sensor, 13MP 120° ultra-wide camera with macro option, a 10MP telephoto camera and a 32MP front camera.
It packs a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, and the company has confirmed 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage for the Indian version. It packs a 4310mAh battery with 68W wired fast charging and the phone also supports 15W wireless charging.
The motorola edge 50 neo will be sold on Flipkart, motorola India online store and offline stores after the launch. There will be a 1-hour flash sale, confirmed the company.
