Infinix ZERO 40 5G with 6.78″ FHD+ 144Hz AMOLED display, Dimensity 8200 Ultimate, 50MP AF front camera launched in India


Infinix just launched the ZERO 40 5G, the company’s latest smartphone in the ZERO series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.74-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of up to 1,300 nits.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate chipset, has 12GB of RAM, and offers 256GB or 512GB of storage. It features a 50MP front camera (JN1 sensor), 108MP rear main camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL HM6 sensor (1/1.67-inch), OIS, a 50MP ultrawide lens, and supports up to 4K video recording at 60fps from both the front and rear cameras.

The ZERO 40 5G runs XOS 14.5 based on Android 14 and will receive security updates for 3 years and 2 Android version upgrades. The phone packs a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W wired charging, supports up to 20W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.

The GoPro mode enables integration with GoPro cameras for viewing and controlling shooting modes, with the GoPro Quik app pre-installed. The ZERO 40 5G also includes AI enhancements for photography, such as ProStable video, RAW HDR, and various shooting modes.

Pricing and availability

The Infinix Zero 40 5G comes in Violet Garden, Moving Titanium, and Rock Black colours co-created with WGSN and is priced at Rs. 27,999 for the 12GB + 256GB model and the 12GB + 512GB model costs Rs. 30,999. It will be available from September 21st from 7PM from Flipkart.
