vivo just launched the V40e, the company’s latest smartphone in the V40 series in India, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.77-inch 120Hz 3D curved AMOLED display, and has a 50MP eye autofocus front camera inside the notch.
It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC with 8GB of RAM and additional 8GB of virtual RAM. The phone uses highly efficient heat dissipation materials along with 10 temperature sensors resulting in up to 7° C reduction in core temperature, ensuring stable performance, said the company.
The phone features a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor, 2x portrait mode, and 8MP ultra-wide camera, and Aura Light for Smart Color Temperature Adjustment. There is Ultra-Stable 4K Video with OIS + EIS, AI portrait suit, AI eraser, and AI Photo Enhancer.
The phone has a 7.49mm sleek design, 183g weight, runs Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14, and will get 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The phone packs a massive, 5500mAh battery with 80W fast charging.

The vivo V40e comes in Royal Bronze and Mint Green colours and is priced at Rs. 28,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model and the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 30,999.
It will be available for pre-order from Flipkart, vivo India online store, and offline stores starting from today, and will go on sale starting from October 2nd.
