It has been over a year since the Xiaomi Pad 7 series was introduced, and the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 was introduced earlier this year, now the specifications of the Xiaomi Pad 7 has surfaced, thanks to tipster @体验more.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 series is expected to feature an 11.16-inch 144Hz LCD screen, slightly bigger than the 11-inch 2.8K screen in the predecessor. The Xiaomi Pad 7 is said to be powered by Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC compared to Snapdragon 870 in the predecessor.
On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is said to get a slightly faster Snapdragon 8s Gen3 SoC, compared to Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC in the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro.
However, the Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro is still powerful with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, so it will still remain a flagship for this year, said the tipster. Xiaomi will support the tablet for four or five years, and there shouldn’t be any issues in the performance in the long run, he added.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 is said to support 45W fast charging, compared to 33W in the predecessor, while the Pro model will retain the 67W fast charging. Battery capacity and the camera specifications are not available yet.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 series has passed the network certification on August 27th. These are expected to be introduced alongside the Xiaomi 15 series later this month.
