HONOR GT series gaming phone to be announced on December 16


HONOR recently confirmed that it will introduce HONOR GT series gaming phone in China on December 16th after the HONOR X50 GT, which was introduced earlier this year.

It also revealed the design of the phone, and said that it will come in Phantom Black, Ice Crystal White and Aurora Green colours in 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB versions.

Today, the company confirmed that the phone will come with AI Oasis eye protection gaming screen, featuring 360-degree full-scene motion sickness relief display, full freedom of movement in 12 directions, relieving motion sickness when playing games in a car.

It will also come with flagship AI sleep-aiding display offering comprehensive visual fatigue decreased by 14%, so melatonin increased by 20%. This will also feature AI defocus eye protection technology, 3840Hz ultra-high frequency PWM dimming, Natural light eye protection that simulates the dynamic changes of natural light, relieves ciliary muscle visual fatigue, and reduces visual fatigue by 18%.

Other features include 360° adaptive dimming, and Hardware-level low blue light in which the harmful blue light is less than 5.6% compared to other models.

According to leaker Digital Chat Station, the phone will pack a 6.7″ 1.5K LTPS flat screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC with 1.5K PC-level super resolution, aerospace-level heat dissipation material, 50MP OIS + 12MP UW camera, and a 5300mAh battery with 100W flash charging. The phone will be just 7.7mm thin and weigh 196g.
