ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra to be announced on February 6

ASUS has confirmed the announcement of Zenfone 12 Ultra, the successor to last year’s Zenfone 11 Ultra, globally on February 6th. The invite shows 4K video recording with focus lock.

The company says that the “Zenfone 12 Ultra unlocks the power of AI, so get ready to step into a new era of mobile photography excellence!” without revealing any other specifications.

Based on earlier reports, this will be a rebranded version of the ROG Phone 9, similar to the Zenfone 11 Ultra which was the rebranded version of the ROG Phone 8, so we can expect similar specifications, and the model number ASUSAI2501H showed up on the IMEI database.

We can expect 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED HDR 1-120Hz LTPO display, Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM with up to 512GB (UFS 4.0) storage, 50MP main camera with Sony LYTIA 700 sensor, 13MP ultra-wide camera, 32MP 3X telephoto lens and a 5800mAh battery with 65W fast charging and 15W wireless charging.

Launch event

The ASUS Zenfone 12 Ultra launch event on February 6th starts at 2:30PM Taiwan Time (12:00PM IST), and the company should offer a live stream as usual.
