Apple could launch Powerbeats Pro 2 on February 11

Apple is gearing up to launch the Powerbeats Pro 2, an upgraded version of its fitness-focused earbuds. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, the release is just a week away, with the earbuds set to hit the market next week.

This follows last week’s leak of detailed specifications and images. The Powerbeats Pro 2 will feature the H2 chip, offering improved active noise cancellation compared to the original model.

The earbuds will have a slimmer, more vertical design than the 2019 Powerbeats Pro. They will also monitor heart rate during workouts and connect to gym equipment like treadmills, syncing data with the iPhone’s Health app.

The Powerbeats Pro 2 will be available in four colors, including Electric Orange, Jet Black, Quick Sand, and Hyper Purple. These features were confirmed by Gurman and align with earlier reports from MacRumors.

Additional upgrades include better sound quality, longer battery life, and enhanced Android compatibility, including features like Find My Device. The charging case will now feature a USB-C port.

Expected Launch Date and Pricing

According to Gurman, Apple will unveil the Powerbeats Pro 2 on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, with a U.S. price set at $250. An official announcement is expected as the launch date approaches.
