TECNO SPARK Slim concept phone to be showcased at MWC 2025

TECNO has announced that it will unveil the SPARK Slim concept smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 next week. The device is presented as an ultra-thin concept, emphasizing a focus on slimness and performance.

The SPARK Slim concept features a 5.75mm profile, a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED display, and utilizes sustainable materials. The device incorporates a dual rear camera system of 50MP+50MP, a 13MP front camera, and an interactive light band for visual effects.

Focus on Slimness and Battery Capacity

TECNO highlights that the SPARK Slim aims to address the common trade-off between slimness and battery life. Despite its 5.75mm thickness, the device is designed to house a 5200mAh battery. The construction involves recycled aluminum and a stainless steel unibody, emphasizing both tactile experience and ergonomic design.

The display is a 6.78-inch 3D Curved AMOLED with 1.5K (1224P) resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. It also features a peak brightness of 4500nits.

Performance and Camera System

The SPARK Slim is intended to deliver performance through a 4.04mm thick, high-density 5200mAh battery and 45W fast charging. It is powered by an upcoming octa-core chip.

The camera system includes a 50MP+50MP dual rear setup and a 13MP front camera. The rear camera system is complemented by a dynamic light-band effect.

Future Implications

The SPARK Slim concept is presented as a demonstration of TECNO’s approach to smartphone design and technology. The brand emphasizes its focus on combining slim form factors with functional performance and sustainable materials. The device is intended to showcase TECNO’s advancements in materials and design innovation.

Attendees will be able to view the SPARK Slim at TECNO’s booth, 6B11, Hall 6, Fira Gran Via.
