JBL has introduced two updated portable speakers, the Flip 7 and Charge 6, designed to deliver enhanced sound quality, improved durability, and sustainability.
Both models incorporate the new AI Sound Boost technology, which optimizes audio in real-time to minimize distortion and maximize performance.
JBL Flip 7
The JBL Flip 7 features enhanced bass performance and a re-engineered tweeter with a dome design for crystal-clear high frequencies. The proprietary AI Sound Boost technology adjusts audio settings dynamically, offering an immersive listening experience. This compact speaker is IP68-rated, making it fully waterproof and dustproof, ensuring reliability in any environment.
Equipped with Bluetooth Core 5.4, it allows seamless wireless connectivity and supports Auracast for stereo pairing and multi-speaker connections. The Flip 7 boasts a battery life of 16 hours, with an extra two hours provided by Playtime Boost. Its lightweight design includes the new PushLock system, a wrist strap, and a carabiner for maximum portability.
For audiophiles, the Flip 7 supports lossless audio playback via its USB-C port when paired with compatible devices and sources. The speaker’s eco-friendly design uses 77% post-consumer recycled plastic and 100% recycled fabric for the grille, while the packaging is made of FSC-certified paper printed with soy ink.

JBL Charge 6
The JBL Charge 6 is a versatile portable speaker offering enhanced sound clarity and deeper bass, thanks to its updated woofer and AI Sound Boost. It includes a detachable handle strap for easy carrying and an impressive IP68 waterproof and dustproof rating.
With a battery life of up to 28 hours, plus an additional 4 hours through Playtime Boost, the Charge 6 keeps the music going all day. Its built-in USB-C power bank allows users to charge mobile devices on the go, though it is not compatible with laptops. Auracast technology enables stereo pairing and multi-speaker connections for a broader soundstage.
The Charge 6 also supports lossless audio playback via USB-C, enabled through an Over-The-Air (OTA) software update in the JBL Portable app. Similar to the Flip 7, it is made with recycled materials, including post-consumer recycled plastic and eco-conscious packaging.
