Viewsnic has announced ViewPad 10pi, dual-boot tablet and ViewPad 10e Android tablet at the CES 2012. The ViewPad 10pi has dual-boot option that runs on both Windows 7 Professional-based Tablet and Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It comes with 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch and runs on 1.5GHz (Oak Trail) Intel Atom 2670 processor and is the successor of Viewpad 10pro that was unveiled at MWC 2011. The ViewPad 10e has a 9.7-inch TFT-LCD (1024×768 pixels) capacitive touch screen display. It is powered by 1 GHz CPU and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
The Viewsonic ViewPad 10pi has 10.1-inch capacitive multi-touch display with 350 nits brightness and 1300:1 contrast ratio. It has 2GB DDR2 RAM and 64GB internal SSD. It has 3.2MP rear camera and 1.3MP front video calling camera and is 13.5mm thick and weighs 800g. Other features include, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 3.5mm audio jack, Built-in Swype keyboard, SD card slot, 2x USB 2.0 and 2890mAh, 32Wh Li-Polymer battery.
The Viewsonic ViewPad 10e has 9.7-inch TFT-LCD (1024×768 pixels) capacitive touch screen display with 400 nits brightness and 800:1 contrast ratio. It has 512 MB DDR3, 667MHz RAM and 4GB NAND memory. It has CMOS 1.3MP front camera and is 9.1 mm thick and weighs 621g. Other features include, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, 3.5mm headset audio jack, 3D user interface, micro USB / Mini-HDMI port and 2700mAh, 20Wh Li-Polymer battery.
The Viewsonic ViewPad 10pi is priced at $849 and would be available late January 2012 in North America. The ViewPad 10e is priced at $299 and will be available late January 2012 in North America and Latin America.
