Samsung has announced the pricing and the availability of their Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch and 10-inch tablets in the U.S. Both these tablets have similar specs such as 1GHz dual-core processor and Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) mid-February and the Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) late-February.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) has 10.1-inch WXGA(1280×800) PLS TFT display, 16GB internal memory and comes with 7,000 mAh battery. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) has 7-inch (1024×600) PLS TFT LCD display, 8GB internal memory and comes with 4,000mAh battery. Other features include, 3G HSPA+ support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS and microSD card slot.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0) would be available in the U.S on April 22nd for $249.99, and pre-orders begin on April 12th. The Samsung Tab 2 10.1 would be available in the U.S on May 13th for $399.99, and pre-orders begin on May 4.
