HTC has finally announced the Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) update schedule. HTC confirmed the list of devices that would get the ICS update back in November and added more devices to the upgrade list later. They also announced that Sensation devices would be the first to get the ICS update in March and then started rolling out the update and for HTC Sensation and HTC Sensation XE in March.
All these devices would also get HTC Sense 3.6 instead of HTC Sense 4.0 that is available on that latest HTC One Series devices due to hardware limitations.
They announced the list of 16 devices that would get ICS in March. Now they have added HTC EVO 4G+ to the list which makes it 17.

[Update: HTC has removed the Desire HD from the update list saying that it would require re-partitioning device storage and overwriting user data that would wipe the date. It would also have technical limitations that would reduce good user experience.]
