HTC One X+ Benchmarks

HTC launched the One X+ in India today. We got hands-on time with the device and we ran some benchmarks to test the performance of the device. The HTC One X+ is the upgraded version of the One X that we reviewed earlier this year. The HTC One X+ topped some benchmarks including the Quadrant Sunspider when compared to the other quad-core Android Smartphones such as One X, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S3, Optimus 4X HD, Optimus G and Optimus Vu. It also comes close to the Note 2’s quad-core Exynos CPU in some benchmarks.

These benchmarks test the performance of the 1.7 GHz quad-core AP37 Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and the GeForce GPU. The new processor is considerably faster than the AP33 in the One X.

Quadrant

HTC One X+ is right behind the Optimus G with 7447 points beating the Note 2.

AnTuTu Benchmark

The One X+ is right behind the Note 2 and above the Tegra 3-powered Optimus Vu.

Browsermark

The One X+ holds the second spot even in the Browsermark .

SunSpider Javascript Benchmark

The One X+ is faster than the other quad-core phones in the SunSpider Javascript Benchmark.

The One X+ is the clear winner in the SmartBench Productivity with 5035 points, few points more than the Note 2.

The GeForce GPU in the One X+ can’t keep up with the Snapdragon’s Adreno GPU.

The performance of the One X+ is on-par with the Note 2 and S3 in the Nenamark GPU test.
