Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite officially launched in India for Rs. 13,700, MediaPad 10 FHD available in December


Huawei has officially launched the MediaPad 7 Lite, their new 7-inch Android tablet with 3G and voice calling facilities. It was announced earlier this August and went on sale in India online at the end of October. Huawei has also announced that the MediaPad 10 FHD that was announced back in February would be available in India in December. The MediaPad 7 Lite has a 7-inch (1024 x 600 pixels) IPS multi-touch display and is powered by a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 processor. It has 3G support with voice calling, SMS and MMS. The MediaPad 10 FHD has a 10.1-inch (1920 x 1200 pixels) HD IPS display and is powered by a 1.5 GHz K3 quad-core processor. Both these tablets would run on 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich).

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite has a 3.2 Megapixel rear camera and a 0.3 MP front-facing camera for video calling and can also play 1080p HD videos at 30 frames per second. It has 1GB RAM, 4 GB of internal memory and expandable memory up to 32GB with micro SD. It has 3G (HSDPA 3.6Mbps), WiFi 802.11 b/g/n,  DLNA, Bluetooth 3.0, aGPS and USB OTG support and has a 4100 mAh battery.


The MediaPad 10 FHD has an 8MP rear facing auto-focus camera with dual LED Flash, 1080p HD video recording and a 1.3MP front facing camera. It has 2G RAM, 3G (HSPA+ 21/42/84Mbps, HSUPA: 42Mbps), LTE support, WiFi 820.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and comes with Dolby surround sound support. It has 6600mAh battery that provides more than 10 hours of continuous usage.

The Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite is priced at Rs. 13,700. It is available from India’s leading retailers like Croma, Reliance Digital, online channels and multi brand outlets across India. The Huawei MediaPad 10 FHD would be available by December across India and the price would be announced closer to availability.
