The XPERIA Z uses Dragontail glass on the front and Gorilla glass on the back.
The front facing camera and Sony logo.
The left side houses the microUSB slot, the microSD slot and the dock connector ports.
The microUSB and microSD slots are protected by plastic covers. These covered ports help the XPERIA Z to achieve its IP57 waterproof rating.
The right side of the device features the microSIM card tray, lock/power button, volume up/down button, speaker grille and lanyard eyelet.
The power/lock key is similar to the ones found on Sony’s VAIO range of laptops and notebooks.
On the top you find only the 3.5mm Audio Jack
The 3.5mm Audio Jack is also protected by a plastic cover
The 13.1 Megapixel camera along with the LED flash and microphone.
