Asus Padfone Infinity launching in Taiwan this week



Asus Padfone Infinity that was announced last month in MWC 2013 would be launched in Taiwan on 26th March, according to a recent report from Central News Agency. The Padfone Infinity is the third device in the Padfone series, which follows the similar design as the first two Padfone devices. It lets you dock the phone in the Padfone station, which can be docked in a keyboard. The Padfone Infinity packs a 5-inch Full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS display, powered by 1.7 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor with Adreno 320 GPU and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean).

It has a unibody frame and a brushed metal aluminium finish. It is the first non-Apple device to use a nano SIM card slot. It has a 13 MP camera with LED flash, 1080p HD video recording, f2.0 aperture and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. The Padfone dock has a 10.1-inch (1920×1080 pixels) display with anti-finger print coating and has a 18mm speaker for enhanced audio output.

No details about the pricing for Taiwan yet, but it would be available from all the 3 major mobile carriers in Taiwan. It comes in Titanium Gray,Hot Pink and Champagne Gold colours. The Asus Padfone Infinity would go on sale in April for 999 Euros (~US$ 1300). Price and specifications would vary based on the markets.
